She was predeceased by: her parent Fate B.; and her sisters, Carolyn Ray and Joan Deyton. She is survived by: her son Joseph Sparks of Spruce Pine; and her siblings, Gail Robinson (Jerry) of Burnsville and Charles Deyton (Patricia) of Burnsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Webb Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
