He is survived by: his brother Carver Roofing; his wife Phyllis Pritchard Carver; his sons, Rev. Tommy Carver (Karen) of Crossnore and David Carver (Lorene) of Linville Falls; his son-in-law Larry Austin (Ginny) of Spruce Pine; his grandchildren, Shasta Smith (Kent), Cameron Carver (Deidra), Tiffany Carver, Lucas Carver (Kim), Remington Austin (Maggie), Maverick Austin, Marlee Austin and Briley Austin; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Smith, Saylor Smith, Holland Austin and Finn Carver; and his siblings, Rev. Ralph Carver (Geneva) of Dallas, NC, Rev. Earl Carver, Jr. (Teresa) of Newland, Mary Watts, Betty Smith (Jim) of Dallas, NC and Minnie Johnson of Newland.
