She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Burleson and Margie Calloway Burleson; her husband Earl Burleson; and her children, Maxine Carpenter, Shirley Crowder, Sonny and Ricky Burleson.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Burleson (Kelly) of Spruce Pine and Robbie Burleson (Regina) of Spruce Pine. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
