She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Beam and Pearl Beam Vaughn; her siblings, Billy Beam and Nancy Pendley; and her half-siblings, Parker, Ralph Beam, James Vaughn and Laura Hicks.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Martha Biddix of Spruce Pine, Mildred Huskins and Betty Denton of Brevard; and her nieces, Wilma Beam of Spruce Pine and Ida Beam.
