He is survived by: his wife Lisa Calloway Franklin; his children, Joey Franklin (Breanna), Betsy Ross (Freddie), Mindy Franklin and Casey Franklin; and his grandchildren, Bella, Jasmine, Tristan, Cordell and Trent.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the BIG Meadows Baptist Church (1985 Horney Rd, Newland, NC 28657).
