He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Biddix and Belle Sullins Biddix; his siblings, Rex V. McKinney and Ethel Elliot; and his children-in-law, Mike Rensink and Jackie Sparks Biddix.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Glenn Biddix of Spruce Pine; his children, Jackie Rensink of Spruce Pine and Tim Biddix of Spruce Pine; his siblings, Bruce Biddix of Spruce Pine and Cora Markford of Florida; his grandchildren, Heather Burleson (Vic) of Spruce Pine, Tyler Biddix (Sheena) of Spruce Pine, Jane Williams (Dustin) of Chapel Hill and Freddie Tipton of Marion; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Luke, Cadence Burleson, Hannah Biddix, Deklan, Kellan Williams, Austin and Briana Tipton.
In keeping with his personal wishes, Joe asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Gideon's, P.O. Box 611, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
