He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hefner and Mary Faith Letterman Hefner. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Hefner (Angie) of Spruce Pine, Dustin Hefner (Janet) of Spruce Pine and Levi Hefner of Spruce Pine; and his brother Dennis Hefner (Elaine) of Waynesville, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
