He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Harmon, Sr. and Elva Childers Harmon; his wife Melba Jo Williams Harmon; and his brother Eddie Harmon. He is survived by: his daughter Mindy Greer (Tommy) of Lenoir; his grandsons, Tyler Norville (Brittany) of Marion and Zack Greer (Adessa) of Morganton; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Piper Jo, Alexus and Chloe; and his brother-in-law Ronald Williams (Barbara) of Spruce Pine.
