Iris Burleson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Burleson (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Iris Burleson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Roscoe and Margie Roberts Garland; her brother Floyd Garland; her husband Lloyd Francis Burleson; her sister Evelyn Hall; and her stepmothers, Elizabeth Tipton Garland and Elmira Byrd Garland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Mills (Buzz) of Encinitas and Jackie Burleson of Charlotte, NC; her brother Herbert Garland of Fairfax, VA; and her sister-in-law Agnes Burleson of Spruce Pine. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
