He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Henry Brewer and Ethel Pauline Gouge; his wife Leslie Glenn; his son-in-law John Combs; and his brothers, Julian Frank, Gurney, Ben and Bill Brewer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Combs of Greenville, NC and Lisa Wiggins (James) of Bryson City, NC; and his sisters, Eloise Harding (JC) and Jane Allen (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
