We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2024, at the age of 85, Hazel Grindstaff of Spruce Pine, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tolley and Ida Tolley; her husband David Grindstaff; and her sisters, Carolyn Cornett and Mildred Slagle.
She is survived by: her children, J. R. Hughes (Trish) of Spruce Pine, Kenny Hughes (Carla) of Frank and Pam McMahan (Kirk) of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Amanda Nance, Jamie Hughes, Jonathon Hughes, Jessica Hollifield, David Hughes, Ashley Garland, Hayden Nance, Lucas, Logan, Landon, Lexi Hughes, Autumn, Asher Garland, Parker and Kolten Hollifield; and her sisters, Betty Hughes and Margret Yelton.
