He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ed Silver, Sr. and Grace Buchanan Silver; and his brother Paul E. Silver, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Baker Silver; and his grandsons, Lance Carroll Silver (Kayla) of Spruce Pine and Tony Dean Silver (Lisa).
