With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geraldine P. Canipe of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaither Phillips and Ada Carpenter Phillips; her husband Ernest Canipe; and her siblings, Howard, Herman, Harold, Harry, Hayne, Ray Phillips, Helen McClellan and Hazel Boone.
She is survived by: her son Richard Canipe (Donna) of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Justin Canipe (Lindsey) of Spruce Pine and Kathryn Hoilman (Corey) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; and her great grandchildren, Cade, Keller Canipe, Avery and Benjamin Hoilman.
