He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Medford; and his parents, Lee Medford and Lennie Biddix Medford. He is survived by: his daughters, Jackie Hyatt and Janet Medford; his siblings, Jack Medford, Carolyn and Rosalee Medford; his granddaughters, Haleigh Moore (Larry) of Spruce Pine, Kacey Garland of Spruce Pine, Madison and Marlee Hyatt of Spruce Pine; and his great grandchildren, Levi Bowman, Hanna Bowman, Adelyn Clemmons and Cora Clemmons.
