It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frank C. Baskin of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartgrove Baskin and Ada Moore Baskin; his sister Barbara Baskin Stovall; and his grandson Yonick Callen Maree. He is survived by: his wife Lila Smith Baskin; and his sons, Jon Baskin of Cartersville, GA, Gary Baskin (Arlene) of Columbia, MD, Danny Willis (Wanda) of Morganton and Alan Willis (Wendy) of Piedmont, SC.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are asked to be made either to Hospice and Home Care of the Blue Ridge, or to the Spruce Pine United Methodist Church's Living Tree project 11090 Hwy 226 S. Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
