We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2019, at the age of 70, Ernie Amodio (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Amodio and Virginia Miles Amodio; his siblings, Victoria Burleson (TJ), Mary Tackatt (Johnny), Pauline Sanders (Paul), Geraldine Williams, Betty Janny (Arnold), Millie Price, Willie Amodio, Billie Amodio, Mack Amodio (Mae), Pete Amodio (Ruby) and William Amodio (Marie); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Harrison, Don Newsome and Jay Willis.
He is survived by: his spouse Marquita Harrison Amodio; his sister Jacquline Newsome of Kentucky; his stepson John Willis (Chesnee) of Spruce Pine; his stepgrandchildren, Mason Miller and Aubree Willis; and his siblings-in-law, Juanita Willis of Spruce Pine, James Harrison of Arbuckle, Kenny Harrison (Sue) and Mark Harrison (Donna) of Blue Rock. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Webb Funeral Home, 128 Roan Road, Spruce Pine, NC 28777 to assist with expenses.
