He is survived by: his daughters, Darla Jean Stamey, Miranda Webb of Spruce Pine, Elberta Lynn Cook (Richard) of Danville, VA and Miriam Lee Stamey of Linville Falls; his siblings, Gretta Stout of Morganton, Evena Stamey of Ellenton, FL and Nelson Stamey (Ginny) of Coos Bay, OR; his grandchildren, Serina, Mara, Dylen, Marissa, Carolina and Lilly; and his aunt Leona Smith of Hudson.
