With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Jean Parrish (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), born in Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garlin Sparks and Nell Sparks; her husband James Owen Parrish; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Parrish, Johnny Parrish, Larry Durham (Alana Parrish) of Durham and Claudette Parrish.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Nyla Parrish Kelly (Todd) of Newport, NC.; her grandson Travis Kelly (Blayke); her great grandchildren, Everett Michael Kelly and Weston Alexander Kelly of Clayton; her brothers, Ken (Wallie Sparks) and Jim Presnell; her siblings-in-law, Billy Parrish of Clayton, Pat Durham of Clayton and Hazel Cannon of Raleigh; and also, Billy Wayne and Gail Durham of Raleigh.
