He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his sons, David of Spruce Pine and Chris (Courtney) of Barnardsville; his sister Kim (Roy) of Spruce Pine; his stepchildren, Shane of Spruce Pine and Shannon of Bakersville; his former wife Jean of Bakersville; his brother Jerry of Spruce Pine; and his grandchildren, Kaylee, Isaiah, Blake, Anthony, Elijah, Alissa, Athena, Carson and Brayden.
