We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2022, at the age of 94, Earl Smith (Spruce Pine, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Smith, Sr. and Maggie Cook Smith; his siblings, Eugene Smith, Clyde Smith, Jr., Laura Sparks and Myrtle Stewart; his daughter Carolyn Kay Smith; and his granddaughter Angela Dawn Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Burleson Smith; his sons, Jerry Smith (Hilda) of Spruce Pine and Richard Smith (Linda) of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Cassie), Melissa, Kate (Mark) and Lorrie; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Lily, Abigail, Elizabeth, Evie, Elsie, Clarie and Lydia.
