She is survived by: her children, Howard Sparks (Kim) of Hendersonville, Shelia Benfield (Lewis) of Spruce Pine and Loretta Burleson (David) of Lenoir; and her siblings, Grace Robinson of Valdese, Martha Wright of Valdese, Mary Dodson of Morganton, Tommy Stewart (Agnes) of Morganton and Charles Lee Stewart (Mary Lou) of Spruce Pine. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
