She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Patterson and Hettie Patterson; her siblings, Susan Hutchens and Reid Patterson; and her granddaughter Claire Atkins.
She is survived by: her husband Elihu "Butch" Brown; her sister Lynne Borden (Dave); her daughters, Angela Atkins (Jeff), Sandra Elizabeth Harrison (Kent) and Emily Parker; her grandchildren, Abbigayle Bremner (Jonathan), Lydia Billings (Brandon), Brianna Harrison, Caroline McKinney (Zeb), Mariana Harrison, Sarah Atkins, Lelia Parker, Ryan Parker and Patrick Harrison; and her great grandchildren, Silas Harrison, Evangeline Bremner and Josiah Bremner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
