We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2023, at the age of 92, Doris Harrison (Spruce Pine, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Miller and Bertha Young Miller; her husband Fred Harrison; and her siblings, Betty Carpenter (Frank), John Ray Miller (Rose) of Simpsonville, SC and James Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Fred R. Harrison, Jr. of Memphis, TN, Deborah Willis (Harold) of Bakersville, Barbara Coalson of Winston Salem and Sondra Stewart (Kent) of Spruce Pine; and her siblings, Danna Burnette of Hilton Head, SC, Brenda Burnette (Kelly) of Marion, Charles Miller (Judy) of Norfolk, VA and Burl Miller (Myrtle) of Mauldin, SC.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
