He is survived by: his wife Jean Blankenship Godfrey; his children, Melissa McKinney (Harold) of Humpback Mountain, Tiffany McCurry (Jeremy) of Bald Mountain, Joni Godfrey of Red Hill and Gary Godfrey, Jr. (Stacey) of Blue Rock; his grandchildren, Tristan, Ashala, Chloe, Chase, Gage, Logun, Megean (Devin), Colton, Blake, Jeff, Ben, Jerimiah and Eden; and his siblings, Glenda Gregory of Burnsville, Rev. Bobby Silver (Vivian) of Burnsville and Bill Godfrey (Ruby) of Skyland.
