He is survived by: his wife Diane Hoyle Cantrell of Penland; his children, Jennifer Lowery of Penland, Emily Cantrell (Johnny Ledford) of Spruce Pine and Matthew Cantrell of Penland; his grandchildren, Dylan Michael Lowery (Jaiden), David Hunter Lowery, Jaden Linn Lowery, Greyson Drake Cantrell, Mahaela Lily-Grace Ledford and Bryson Michael Ledford; and his siblings, Ricky Cantrell (Pat) of Clemson, SC, Judy Pittman of Morganton and Mary McKinney of Morganton. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
