With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Colene Norton (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on December 21, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert O. Helms, Sr. and Bessie Aycoth; her son Rick Harris; and her brother Arnold Helms. She is survived by: her husband Gary Norton; her children, Donna Sell of Monroe, NC, Liz Lecka of Foscoe, NC, Frank Harris and Tom Harris of Charlotte, NC.; and her siblings, Brenda Wilhelm and Robert O. Helms, Jr. of Monroe, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
