It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Miller (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Grindstaff and Martha Roberts Grindstaff; her husband Wait Miller; her brothers, Ed and Lawrence Grindstaff; her half-brother Arvil Grindstaff; and her sisters, Pansy McIntire, Edith Ollis, Ella Hoilman and Myrtle Garland.
She is survived by: her children, Mildred Pittman of Bakersville and Marvin Miller (Mary) of Bluff City, TN; her grandchildren, Rickey Hollifield (Otehia) of Bakersville, Sherri Wilson (Phillip) of Spruce Pine, Rodney Hollifield (Andrea) of Roanoke, VA, Kevin Hollifield (Donna) of Spruce Pine and Mark Miller (Amy) of Piney Flats, TN; her great grandchildren, Eric, Jamie, Brian, Brady, Reagan, Nick, Emily and Rebekah; and her half-sister Betty Grindstaff of Bakersville.
