He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Burleson and Foy Putman Burleson; and his wife Orpha Lee Staton Burleson. He is survived by: his siblings, Ava Lee Burleson, Dick, Ralph and Fred Burleson; his sons, Bill Burleson (Martha) of Elk Park and Jimmy Staton; and his grandson Andrew Charles Burleson of Winston-Salem, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
