It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Wilson (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carrie Wilson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Newland Frank and Mae Childers Gardner; her husband Norris Wilson; and her siblings, Ray, Frank of Harry, J. D., James, Melvin Gardner, Bernice Gardner, Faye Greene and Irene Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Wilson (Carolyn) of Marion, Tim Wilson (Regina) of Morganton, Teresa Wilson and Juanita Cantrell (Charlie) of Plumtree; her grandchildren, Lauren, Lila and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Addison and Lucas; and her siblings, Betty English of Bakersville, Darlene Putman of Bakersville, Margaret Gardner of Unicoi, TN, Richard Gardner of Bakersville and George Gardner of Morganton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
