It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benny Young (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on September 20, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bennett Young and Beulah Pritchard Young. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn Young of Spruce Pine; his son Billy Webber (Tracy) of Ledger; his granddaughters, Holly Buchanan (Justin) and Jessi Barnett (Jake) of Spruce Pine; his brothers, Johnny of Spruce Pine and Robert "Bobby" Young of Spruce Pine; his nieces, Jennifer McNeill of Pittsboro and Kim Reece (Chad) of Sparta; his great-nephews, Cameron and Jake McNeill; and his great-niece Alexis "Lexi" Reece.
