It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Huskins of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Plumber Blevins and Ruth Sparks Blevins; her husband Gordon Huskins; and her siblings, Jean Blevins Johnson (Nils), Paul Fortner (Mary) and Bruce Blevins (Margaret).

She is survived by: her sons, Ken Huskins (Annette) of Spruce Pine and Keith Huskins (Janet) of Bermuda Run, NC; and her granddaughter Alexandra Huskins Sheehan (Chris).
