With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ann Hensley (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Ann Hensley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ashford Dellinger and Lena Shook Dellinger; her husband Joe Brooks Hensley; and her grandson Jason Briggs. She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Briggs of Spruce Pine and Mary Ray (James) of South Toe; her grandchildren, Summer Phillips, SuVannah Scott, Ashley Stevens (Jeremy) and Santana Wright (Seth); and her great grandchildren, Elijah, Ashton, Bella, Ava, Asher, Adam and Kimberlynn.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Cindy Nanney and all the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge for the wonderful care given to Barbara and requests memorials be made to them at 236 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
