She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence McCraw and Louise Hill McCraw; and her husband Ray Gilbert. She is survived by: her son Bryan Marshall Gilbert (Gale) of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Matthew Ray Gilbert, Joni Johnson (Brandon), Niki Kinman (James) and Alex Stockton (Katie); her daughter Cynthia Louise McDade; and her granddaughters, Kristen and Brigit. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and numerous special friends and close family friends.
