She was predeceased by: her parents, Witalis Stanislaw Winnicki and Czeslawa Winnicka. She is survived by: her husband Henry C. Moon; her sister-in-law Carol Moon Hammock; her stepchildren, Hank Moon (Utah), Sara Moon Furlong (Richard) and Amy Moon (Florida); her grandchildren, Sean and Jamie Lett; her nephew Cason Hammock; and her niece Jennifer Hammock Mummert (Michael). She is also survived by four grandnieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to one of the following: Samaritan's Purse (Boone, NC), St. Lucien Catholic Church (Spruce Pine, NC) Western Carolina Rescue Ministries (Asheville, NC).
