It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Livingston (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Callahan and Selma Livingston Callahan; and his brother Joe Livingston. He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Thomas Livingston; his sisters, Melanie L. Slagle (Bill) of Spruce Pine and Diane L. Bolles (Mark) of Spruce Pine; his grandchildren, Ivy Grindstaff (Harold Grindstaff) of Bakersville and Doris L. Hughes of Bakersville; his great grandchildren, Abby (Dixon), Kyle (Jordan), Erin (John), Grace (Zeke) and Beth (Michael); and his nieces and nephews, Wilson, Junior, Emmie, Jonah, Shepherd, Caroline, Bennett, Liliana, Gabriella and Isaac.
