He was predeceased by: his parents, David Henry Baker and Carrie Pate Baker; and his wife Betty Louise Jones Baker. He is survived by: his sister Almeda Welch; his children, Linda Baker Hardy (Jim), William Henry Baker Jr. (Diane), David Henry Baker (Shelia), Johnny Eugene Baker (Cheryl) and George Oscar Baker (Kim); and his pet Little Man.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorials to be made to Smith Funeral Home in memory of William "Buddy" Henry Baker III.
