It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma F Aman Rochelle of Spring Lake, North Carolina, born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frank Aman and Clara Thompson Aman; her husband Carl Isaac Rochelle; her son William Carl Rochelle; and her siblings, Bessie Aman Cole, Durwood and Raymond Aman (Billy).
She is survived by: her children, Frances Worth Kelly of Mt. Olive, Bobby Rochelle (Esther) of Fayetteville, Barbara Lewis of Eastover, David Rochelle (Michelle) of North Augusta, SC, Jo Ann Wilkie (Johnny) of Fayetteville, Carey Rochelle (Joanna) of Queen Creek, AZ and Alan Wilkie (Jean) of Fayetteville. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren and four Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Central Baptist Church, 602 Spring Avenue, Spring Lake, NC 28390 in memory of Thelma.
