It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tammy Hockaday Benson of Spring Lake, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edgar Hockaday and Elizabeth Herring Hockaday; her son Jason Wayne Paradise; and her siblings, Rebecca Ann Mauney, Phyllis Diane Hockaday and Steve Edward Hockaday.
She is survived by: her husband Sean Benson; her daughter Crystal Paulino of Bunnlevel; her grandchildren, Skylar, Madison, Logan and Jacob; and her siblings, Harry James Hockaday (Shirley) of Garner, Betty Dawson of Raleigh and Tony Glenn Hockaday (Joy) of Spring Lake. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
