She is survived by: her children, Tyrone McKinnis (Shelia) of Spring Lake, NC, Jerome McKinnis of Spring Lake, NC and Gwendolyn McIntyre of Sanford, NC; her stepdaughter Brandie Tate of Fayetteville, NC; her brothers, Douglas McKinnis (Brenda) of Lillington, Elder Samuel Jasper McKinnis of Sanford, NC, Randy McKinnis of Atlantic City, NJ and Willie Arnold McKinnis; and her friend Varnita Strickland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
