With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sheila Vannoy of Spring Lake, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Paul Sidener and Jean Cortez Sidener; her husband Jack T. Vannoy; and her daughter Denise Shinn Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen McNeill (Mike Evans) of Fayetteville, NC and Bryan Wesley Shinn (Pam) of Fargo, ND.; her stepsons, Kai Vannoy (Connie) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Jason Vannoy (Brooke) of Fayetteville, NC.; her sister Honey White; her nieces, Mary Ellen and Rebecca; her nephew Tony of California; her son-in-law Mark Anderson of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Autumn Lynn McNeill of Greensboro, NC, Gary Long (Karli) of Virginia, Danny Shinn (Cheyenne) of California, Ashley Anderson (Justin) of Minnesota, Jordan Anderson of Texas, Taylor Anderson, Kelsey Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Brandi Vannoy, James Johnson, Phillip Johnson and Max Vannoy; and her great grandchildren, Wesley Shinn and Silas Long.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Gardens (1857 N Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
