With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shawn Darnell Rouse of Spring Lake, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 38. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Shawn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his wife Rudie Cooper; his mother Yvette Rouse; his children, Darnell Rouse, Lanita Rouse, ShaNya Rouse, Shawn Rouse Jr., Nyveona Rouse, Javeon Coper and Andrianna Ellis; his siblings, Shenika Thomas and Jamal Jackson; and his sister-in-law Nyia Buter. He is also survived by aunts, uncles cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
