He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Linwood Maye, Sr. and Nellie Van Davis Maye; and his brother Ervin "Sonny" Linwood Maye Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Candace Maye McDermott (Bob); his sister Nancy Dean of Hope Mills; his granddaughter Leilani Haas; and also, Jerry and Lisa Dover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital in honor of Ronnie's generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
