He was predeceased by: his parent Romman Smith, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Micah J. Smith, Esther R. Smith, MD and Hannah M; his grandson Sylvian C. Tshiona III; his mother Josephine D. Smith; and his siblings, Phinea Smith Brown, Viola Smith and Alton L. Smith. He is also survived by in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the VA, to help with Veterans who are homeless or at-risk.
