He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sheldon Andrew and Lois Pauline Martin Guthrie; his wife Grace Marie White Guthrie; his children, Sandra Ann Anson (Alan Anson) of Vass, NC, Robert E. Guthrie, Jr. (Patricia Hartley Guthrie) of Spring Lake, NC, David Andrew Guthrie (Angela Carroll Guthrie) of Parkton and Susan Rae Guthrie of Albemarle, NC; and his siblings, Darryl Wayne Guthrie of Jacksonville, FL, Julian Lee Guthrie of Jefferson, PA and Barbara Lou Smith of Clinton Township, MI. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
