It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Vernon Wigal of Spring Lake, North Carolina, born in Jefferson, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wigal and Orple Wigal; his wife Delores Wigal; and his siblings, Sonny Wigal and Lucille West.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Sharon, Sandra and Junior; his niece Judy Mozingo (Ray) of Louisburg; and his siblings, Shirley Memsen, Ed Wigal, Sheldon Wigal, Christina Schafer, Joyce Brown and Willie Wigal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
