As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Retha may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Williams of Spring Lake, Robbie McNeill (Vicky) of Greensboro and William McNeill of Hope Mills; and her siblings, Charles McNair (Carla), Alexander McNair of Fayetteville and Minnie Smith of Laurinburg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Herring Funeral Care & Cremations (2720 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
