She was predeceased by: her parents, George Godfrey and Alena Godfrey (West); her husband Joseph R. Smith, Jr.; and her sister Tyrecy Benson. She is survived by: her sister Daphine Godfrey Tweed (Claude). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; and many grand-nieces and nephews.
