She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Kate Matthews and James Leslie Matthews; her son Terry Wayne Anderson; and her brothers, Leo Matthews and Tommy Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Donald (Mike), Debbie Glander, James R. Anderson, Jr. and Julie Morris (Mark); her sisters, Faye Cox and Jean West (Tommy); her nieces, Angela Reynolds, Lesley Cox and Tracy Matthews; and the father of her children James R. Anderson, Sr.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (293 Bethel Baptist Rd, Spring Lake, NC 28390). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
