She is survived by: her nephew Curtis Holder (Denise); her nieces, Rose Deal (Doug) and Kathy Langham (Mike); her children, Linda March Heaster Lay, McVeigh Llewellyn Heaster (Bud), Laura Dawn Smith (David), Gregory Burdette Heaster (Allison), Leona Gale Klaren (Chuck), Lydia Ann Street (Tony), Filipino and Bhombie Kobito (Bobby); her grandchildren, Joey (Yuli), Jade (David), Jordan, Lewey, Niki (David), Kylie, Breanna, Zachary (Kayla), Caleb and Luke; her stepgrandchildren, Katie Lumpkin, Sam and Nate Puckett; and her stepchildren, Kathy Blanton (Kenny), Tammy Hein (Joe) and Donnie Drake, Jr..
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Layton Chapel Baptist Church (1230 Anderson Creek School Rd, Spring Lake, NC 28390). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Harnett Memorial Park (50 US-421, Lillington, NC 27546).
Memorials may be made to Layton Chapel Church, her home church since 1935.
