With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel L Higgins (Spring Lake, North Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wade and Zada Cox Cannon (Pitt); her husband Richard P. Higgins Sr.; her siblings, Mary Francis Swaney, Margaret Daughtry, Mildred Midgett, Martha Butts, Myrtle Joyner, Melba Parker, Oris Cannon and Joseph "Mack" Cannon; and her granddaughter Sarah Jane Higgins Allred.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Redia; and her grandchildren, Zackary, Skyler, Michael, Liam, Erin, Claire, Sia Higgins, Brandon, Thomas Maloney, Jamie, Angel Beniquez and Jennifer Rogers. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Donations in lieu of flowers should be made to The Care Clinic of Fayetteville or Victory Junction (Randleman NC).
